Overview
Three more stories from the archive, sent in over the years from listeners and re-worked with their involvement. The first concerns a returning villager, changed to look at but still the same inside and her intense experience with an older neighbour. The second short tale tells of a chance moment between the ex-boyfriend of an older sister, and her younger sister, but with a chaste and loving twist.
And lastly, an unlikely tale if we're honest (but both listeners insist its true), of how two strangers - he an oak of a man in his thirties wanting a quiet life and she a twenty-shomething chatterbox doing a friend a favour - ended up in each other's arms within five minutes of meeting by an embarrassing accident, and were unable to step away from each other without yet further embarrassment. From little acorns, as they say.
